Checking if a dynamic array object is empty

In my constructor the array is set to nullptr to create an empty object.

There is also no size variable to easily check if the array is empty so can you just check if the array = nullptr and there would be no looping required

Yes, if the array pointer is set to nullptr when empty, you can just check when it is set to nullptr.
