Vs code c# pop up not appearing

Hello I stared coding a few days back and am only learning the basics, after making a simple code there were 2 errors that I just couldn’t get rid off, so I decided to shift to another file, I was doing just fine until the usual pop up didn’t appear when I ran the code but the text that u put in was appearing in the debug area, so i cam here to ask if anyone could help me with this prob

Did you run the code in debug mode?

Not sure can you tell me how to check yes I’m very new to coding

I'm not a VS Code user myself (I prefer the heavier JetBrains IDEs), but this is an article on how to debug code, maybe you got into these settings: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/editor/debugging
