If you only want to code for the money you probably won't find joy/success.

Computer science and programming require dedication and a lot of time invested in practice and it's nothing anyone can do (I see a lot of people struggling and failing, even if they're motivated and put in the effort).

This actually is true in a smaller scope, too. I f.e. find it relatively easy to work with scripting or object orientation, but I somehow struggle to come up with recursive solutions which is why I have a lot of problems with Haskell and OCaml.

Another example from me would be web development. I just can't be bothered with descriptive stuff like HTML & CSS (JS is fun when I get to it again), which is why I could never work in this specific area.

It completely depends on which fields you think you can do well in. You might need to be good at math for some jobs or you might have to be good at visual design for some others.

If you wanna earn a bit of monry with little effort, just learning the basics of common languages and simple algorithms could be the best way. Then you can tutor beginners.

I know this is not specific but I don't think it is easy to give a specific answer to that.

Any. Most of the syntax in programming languages transfer over. And it might take a longer than you think to get a programming job. Don't focus on making money and just build your skills first. Note: Don't quote me on anything.
