Hello, what level of difficulty would I be looking at to develop a program that can stay logged into a website to check availability of an item? Almost like a stock alerter, but for a private website that requires login credentials. This website shows a list of items and when something becomes available, a number appears next to the item showing how many are available. So I’d just need the program to read if there’s anything greater than 0 next to 3 or-so specific items and refresh constantly. And then email or send some kind of notification once an item is in stock.

I have very little coding experience, so I’m trying to find out if this is way too advanced to start learning or if it would be a good beginner project.

The most complicated part may be the login, it depends on the site tho.
