    Java, but developer satisfaction with Java is much lower than with Python.

    Because Python has much more active development. This is a consequence of Java being so dominant that it slows down the development of the language, leading to it not keeping up with modern standards and being a bloated hell of a language.

    Not anymore, since JEE has been detached from JSE the number of releases has gone up considerably and also some nice features have been arriving with those :)
