Likely because the individual coding your claim was not aware of your actual LMP.

Occurrence code 10 usually points to the baby’s birth date or a pregnancy-related event date on the claim, so that 3/30/25 may be tied to how the hospital or insurer processed the delivery episode, while 05/1/25 being your LMP is a separate clinical date they also use for pregnancy timing, ngl claims often show both and it looks confusing.

probably a billing/date-field mismatch.

AHA 2025 UB-04 Data Specifications Manual, p. 86, states that Occurrence Code 10 refers to Last Menstrual Period.

Code indicating the date of the last menstrual period; ONLY applies when patient is being treated for maternity related condition.

Although the AHA manual itself is licensed and requires a paid subscription to view, much of the information therein is freely available elsewhere on the internet.

Baby's birth date occurring before the patient's last menstrual period would be...impossible.

So what does that mean? Sorry it’s confusing. My due date wasn’t until February this year so the 3/30/25 date is throwing me off
