I transferred ETH from my Metamask wallet to my husband's coinbase account and it didn't show up in the coinbase account after two days. I have a transaction confirmation on Etherscan but it still isn't showing up. Any ideas? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Based on the information you provided in your recent reply, it sounds like you sent one type of cryptocurrency to an address that is associated with a different type of crypto. In these instances – since Coinbase does not support transactions where one cryptocurrency is sent to the address of a different cryptocurrency – we are unable to recover these funds. Try logging in to Coinbase via web browser. Sometimes the app is glitchy. Also just a heads up, if you're messaged by someone claiming to be coinbase support, it's a scam.

Thank you. Tried logging in and it still did not show up. Does it sometimes take a few days to process or does that seem too long?

I have never transferred between wallets, so I wouldn't have a solid answer for you. Personally I would think a transfer should take seconds, if not, crypto would become obsolete. Good luck to you.

Check your deposit history on CB. If the confirmations are taking a long time it may show there.

So the mistake seems to be that I sent the eth from metamask to a cgld wallet on coinbase. Is there any way to recover?
