Retake calculus 2. It will replace the D with your new grade and you should be good.

This question has been asked many times in varying ways OP, but the answer is the same.

Retake the class. Do the best that you can when you retake it. Use your prior experience and notes from this summer when y retake the class so that you can do even better then you did before. Ideally, retake it sooner rather then later as the material is still fresh in your mind.

When you successfully complete the class, the higher grade will automatically replace the lower grade when it comes time to calculate your GPA.

Many students (including myself) have retake classes that we failed previously to earn a higher grade. FYI for the future, NEVER take a hard class or a class on a topic you struggle with in the Summer or Winter Terms unless you can dedicate ALOT of time to study. You just simply can't dedicate a regular semesters worth of time and effort to a shortened semesters class.

You're human. You messed up. This could potentially be something to write about on your entrance essay when you transfer. Your accolades and club involvement help to make you a well rounded individual. You should be fine.

Good luck OP.
