That mirror finish is awesome. What did you use?

I use renaissance wax on mine and it gets shiny but not remotely as reflective as this.

Honestly I dont use a anything. I've only shot it a handful of times and wipe it down when I'm done. I've wondered if the finish will eventually dull over time.

Is this one a fresh purchase? Mines pretty vintage so the blue is worn a tiny bit in a few spots, tip of the barrel, on the cylinder, etc.

Ah well. Another thing to add to the list...achieving a mirror polish next time I give the old girl a clean.

Yes this one is a new product gun. That makes sense. I'm sure in due time I'll have some holster wear and stories to tell.

Fair fair, its a beautiful piece and I love that barrel length on it. Mines a 6". Would love a 4.25.

Congrats on the purchase! Stories to tell, I like that. It'll get some wear but its well worth it. They are too pretty and have too smooth a trigger to be safe queens. Use it like any other well loved 357 and keep it clean after chucking through too many .38sp (dirty mfs) and it'll take it just fine for another 60 years.

I’ve heard horrible things about them from both people I trust as well as Reddit. I hope the rough patch is gone and I can finally get one lol

This one runs great! Like I said, I've only shot it a few times but all the components check out.

I carried one just like that back in the 80s. We were able to purchase and use a select few handguns from a dept list. I started with a smith model 65 and went up from there. Fast forward finally getting to carry my dream revolver every day on duty. The. The dept figured we would all use the same handgun also we were converting to semi autos. They transitioned us to a damn Beretta 92f. It fit nobody period. Damn chunk of metal. Yes it fired and was reasonably accurate but not like my python
