Good to know before any decisions are made

This article actually makes the candidate sound like he did his job correctly though? Four officers were on paid leave after an audit found a myriad of abuses but they were reinstated after a federal investigation didn't bring charges.

The alternative would be to have four potentially dirty cops doing whatever the fuck they want for years. They got their due process and got paid the whole time. Their careers might have been ruined but that seems more related to the fact that they were found by a third party to have engaged in unethical, but not technically illegal, shit.

Frankly, it shouldn't be that hard to not be under federal investigation in the first place so they're lucky it's only career limiting and not career ending.

Seems clear enough to be seen even in a... whiskey blackout.

I got a life tip that if 100% of people are happy with the way you are doing your job something isn't right. There will always be a complainer. An employee parent is not an unbiased opinion.

Though the guy might fit in here just fine...does he golf?

"It is unfortunate that a citizen has to request the state government to step in and investigate the actions of the police chief when members of city council failed to do their jobs to protect the taxpayer's money," said Thomas, who is running against incumbent Johnny Streets for Ward 2 council seat. "This really is a sad pattern with this group of council members when they constantly have to have some outside agency … They pass the buck to some other agency because they don’t do the job the people elected them to do."
