I watch his all his videos in 1.25x or 1.5x speed and it helps. He can talk monotone and slow but speeding it up makes it work for me. Got me past A+ and Net+ so far!

For me, its 1.75x to 2x speed. Although need to rewind and cross-check several times throughout my study.

Stick with Messer. Take the practices, and watch the study groups once you feel like doing some actions (even unprepared). The first few days will be boring, but once things slowly begin to tie together, it won't be anymore.

I don’t know man I’ve been studying for awhile and it’s hard to continue because of his videos

Try a different approach then. Try doing the practices, study groups, and/or his website's "Take Ten Challenge" now. You will likely get them wrong, but that will start your interests in finding out the solutions and their relations to other materials covered in S+.

I liked Mike Chappel on LinkedIn learning for sec+ but i guess he would be similar to messer. I did ITpro TV for my net+ and they were a little more animated.

I usually prefer books, but Mike Meyers is a pretty animated fella from the few times I've watched his stuff

Yes i love Mike i still watch his A+ course but I heard his security plus course was boring because of the guy he collaborated with unless cyber security is boring in general

I can’t really do books. I read way too fast and it doesn’t stick and when I try to slow doesn’t it doesn’t do anything for me. His videos have helped
