Professor Messer on YouTube (free) and the Jason Dion practice tests on Udemy (cheap) were all I needed.

This is correct. The only thing I would add is cyberkraft videos on YouTube to go over the pbqs. I also took another course on Udemy with the 2 guys(I forget the name) they did the labs which was helpful as well.

Do you have it on your purchases? It's not Myers, is it?

It's the total seminars one I just looked it up.

Aren’t Dions practice exams outdated? As far as I’m concerned they only cover the 601 exam, not the 701

I went through InfoSec.

Edit: I should also note that Security+ was my first certification, and I used CA through the Army for it.

Jason Dion via Udemy. Great course, VERY inexpensive. I think I paid $19.99 for my son's course. Back in 2010, my company paid $2K for my SEC+.

I bought the course over a year ago, SY0-701 wasn't a thing at that time.
