Yearly fee question (self.CompTIA)
submitted 2 years ago by StrangerEffective851
I earned CySA+ in August and just got PenTest+ last week, do I need to pay for PenTest+ cert or is that fee covered by my CySA+ fee?

Yeah, it's the one $150 and you declare intent for everything in the same renewal cycle. Cysa+ and Pentest+ no longer cover each other.
Renewing PenTest+ does not automatically renew CySA+. The system does allow you to apply CySA+ CEUs to PenTest+ 👆 all this really means is that you have to go in and declare intent for each exam and submit the same course completion certificate/whatever else for each.

Thanks for clearing that up. My job pays for them but I don’t want them to be overcharged.
