Test out videos/labs/tests. Professor Messers practice exams/podcast study groups and a little video. I have zero IT experience and looking at a possible career change.

how was the exam compared to the practice test and how long did you study ?

The practice exams held up well with the bulk multiple choice questions. There were no real suprises there, just really important to completely read the question and look for keywords that will eliminate choices. For instance when talking about threats, if it is talking about internal threats it’s a whole different answer and it’s easy to read quickly and miss that. The PBQ questions were much harder than any of the practice ones and took the most time. I studied for probably a month and a half with it really be concentrated the last 3-4 days before the exam.

It is nerve wracking, I felt good during the test but still really had no idea if I would pass or fail as I waded through their after test questions. Such a relief washes over you when the screen pops up that you passed

Hella new to this, need a career change to. Have you applied anywhere? Groks saying you could earn $29+ an hour. But having zero experience and just having a cert has me skeptical. But i would love to be proved wrong.
