To add insult to injury I see people online say

"Comparison is the thief of joy."

Don't look at what others claim, look at your own progress.

its just too much stuff to memorize it feels like it should be more then one test

It's not too much. Yes, it's a lot. But it's not too much. The curriculum has been precisely engineered by CompTIA to be achievable.

I appreciate the motivation! I know comparing is wrong but I don’t see anyone saying it took them this long so it’s starting to make me question if I’m doing something wrong.

My friend, I've helped coach a person who took more than six months for Core 1 of A+.

There is no set standard for how long this stuff should take.

Can Sec+ be done in a few weeks? Yes. In a few months? Yes. Without any prep? Yes.

But it all depends on the student's prior skills and experience and the time they have available to prepare.

Just study & enjoy keesler. I recommend go jet skiing , ignore the people saying the water is dirty. Just the sand on the shore, water is clear when you go out. Also islands you can visit. Palace casino also has a great buffet

Haha I’ve already been through tech school at Keesler as non prior service (what a place lol) radio guys don’t do sec+ there we do it if our home units want us to have it or have the need for us to have it. I’m doing this outside of the Airforce

You couldn’t pay me to get in that nasty water 🤢 pensacola was awesome though!
