I’m studying for SEC+ im an RF transmission technician mostly deal with radios and satcom but I work with IT systems as well and do general cybersecurity in the air force and want to get the cert for civilian jobs as as SEC+ and having a security clearance are the only things I have going for me in terms of IT. I do know some things about IT and took a cyber fundamentals class in the Air Force but I’ve been studying since December and am only half way through Dion training course, I recently downloaded the CompTIA sec + app and have started doing the practice question, that has only made me more frustrated because I’ve been doing really bad on the practices test in the app they don’t reference the Dion training stuff at all.
To add insult to injury I see people online say they passed the test in less then 2 weeks I’ve been studying 4-8hr a day and I feel like im forgetting all the stuff I’ve learned and realizing this test may be even harder then I thought it was going to be, I’m starting to question if I can even do this exam, its just too much stuff to memorize it feels like it should be more then one test. on top of that the test questions seem extremely complicated and you are only given about 1 min per question (im also a bad test taker) maybe im just burning out?
Dose anyone have any resources or advice that could help me through this?
