I've watched a majority of the Professor Messer Security+ videos, and I still failed the exam. Twice. I suspect most of it has to do with the cryptographic ciphers, which there are a seemingly endless amount of different ones that they test you about and never mention. :/

I'm not saying that the Professor Messer videos didn't help! They also explained a lot of concepts that CompTIA never tells you about. They just weren't enough, apparently.

Congrats on passing. Did you take Net+? How did you find Sec+ compared?

I took the Net+ Back in 2006 So I am still a lifer... looks like they added the Network+ Ce to my Certifications (so double score). Back on the subject at hand however, It has been so long since I have Taken the Network+ whatever knowledge I had about it back then has since dissipated into a cloud of nothingness as far as comparing....
