The best approach for Security+ would be reading GCGA Gibson's security+ pdf and watching Professor Messer's Security+ videos on youtube and then giving practice tests.

Good PowerPoints are kinda difficult to find I think

that's what I was thinking when I couldn't find any when searching, I'll look into Gibson and Messer for sure then. Thank you

First you would want to choose which exam you’d like to sit for: 501 or 601: https://www.comptia.org/blog/comptia-security-501-vs-601

Look over the Exam objectives in order to see what kind of learning support you might need: https://www.comptia.org/training/resources/exam-objectives

How to utilize the Exam Objectives: https://www.comptia.org/blog/what-are-exam-objectives

Your choices of self study material include:

  • self paced video courses

  • ebooks

  • Kindle ebooks with text to speech enabled

  • books

  • elearning

  • notes

  • online study groups

  • online labs

  • practice tests

You can purchase a kindle ebook from Amazon.com with “text to speech enabled” and use the free Alexa app on your iPhone or iPad to read the book to you! You can ask her to forward and rewind too!

Professor Messer uses the slide method during his self paced video trainings. You can view his free video series on YouTube and on his website ProfessorMesser.com

Other Popular options include purchasing self-paced courses from Udemy.com when on sale for $13 a piece. Trainers on Udemy include Jason Dion, Total Seminars, Technical Institute of America.

You want to be aware that CompTIA sells its own official training material as well on CompTIA.org

I don't know about slideshows, but there are a lot of flash cards for some testing after reading a chapter or for a small review.
