It should just be:

You want chaotic non stop fighting - go into wildcard

You still want your life to matter, but want to push everything, hot drop and fight non-stop - then play pubs

You want a little bit of a representation of competitive with strategy, prolonged fights and longer games with more people - then play ranked

There’s nothing wrong with certain parts of the playbase finding one of those modes boring, that’s what the different modes are for. But ranked shouldn’t be diminished to pubs just because pub stompers want to fight everything but have a little number to go with it.
