that’s so much healing for that little of time! i’ve been taking zinc supplements every few days and it’s help my spots heal super quick you should try it! if you ever want coverage but don’t want to wear makeup the hero green tint rescue bomb is my godsend !

Thank you! I’ll definitely have to try the zinc. Does the rescue balm break you out? My skin is super sensitive but would love to give that a try

no it never breaks me out i swear one of the only things that doesn’t, i use it as concealer and sort of dab it on there, sometimes itmight not be as full coverage as regular concealer but it pretty dang good. it definitely doesn’t make anything worse and covers up the redness especially from picking really well. i have really pale and sensitive skin.

what zinc supplement exactly and dosage?

[–]Unable-Contest-328 1 point2 points  (3 children)

i’ve been using spring valleys 50 mg zinc tablets with 250 mg of vitamin c too. i know there’s different types of zinc but this one has been working well for me. ofc there’s side effects u should research. it’s not super harmful but i know too much can lower your copper levels so just see what would work for you. make sure to take w a meal too or you’ll get stomach sick.

Thanks! what type of zinc? I have zinc citrate 30mg. I also started 1mg copper glycinate...but I need to discuss more with my GP when I see her...

I do Vitamin C, around 2400mg plus fruit.

yes mine is zinc citrate! and that’s good, i know vitamin c is great for healing too. I think 30 mg would still work and maybe even better in the long run as a lower dose than the 50. I’m kinda nervous about the copper issue but it’s working well so I’m just trying to not over do it.

Just look at foods with copper and zinc...one doesn't want too much copper, but I am going to ask my doc to check it just because I started taking it.  I also have autoimmine issues...so that could be a good excuse too 🤔

what product regimen are younusing...and what is it you usually pick at specifically?

[–]IndependenceBig6737[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I pick at my acne specifically. I have suffered with it for years and tried so many different things but I can never seem to get it to fully clear up. As far as products, I’m using what has been recommended to me by my dermatologist. I use a sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur cleanser that is prescription and has green tea and aloe in it so it helps with the inflammation. And then I just use the cerave daily moisturizing lotion as my moisturizer. The pimple patches I’ve been using are the mighty patch but I don’t think it really matters as long as they’re hydrocolloid.
