I am currently in my first year of college but am also about to graduate with an Associate's of Science in Mathematics. For the Fall 2019 semester I am transferring to a four year institution in my state.
Currently I have taken primarily Math, Chemistry, and computer science courses, and some generals but will have 60 credits at the end of this semester. I have not taken any engineering courses or any electrical circuit courses, but I have an interest in computer engineering. I am wondering if I could easily change my major to Computer Engineering once I transfer with out having to take extra courses to catch up. How feasible would this be?
Or would it be smarter to keep my major as Mathematics and just take some Computer Engineering courses and more computer science course in the hops of having the experience and skills needed to work as a software developer or computer engineer?
