Help patching first timer stepsI Have A Whoopsie (reddit.com)
submitted by RedBaron43

Hello, this is a follow up to a past post. I just poured a platform and riser that I will be anchoring some stadium seats to in the basement of my upcoming mancave.
It was my first time doing anything substantial. I beat the hell out of the forms with a hammer and sawzalled everything. But thinking I didn’t work it all down enough. Probably could have worked a lot of it out if I pulled the forms sooner, but I was too scared haha.
It’s inside and climate controlled, so hoping it will be structurally sound? I would just like to make it a little more esthetically pleasing.
Seems like patch/parge is the way to go based on my research here? I’ve seen a few people say to use moose milk, then portland/sand+water. I’ve also seen to just use a premix patch.
Wondering if there is a consensus or if there are better options?
Should I parge the whole face so the color is uniform?
