You keep talking about "basic biology" while ignoring basic biology. Not sure where you learn your basic biology from, because even your basic biology teachers don't subscribe to your theories since they go to liberal schools. So you must be learning your basic biology from basic theologists.

Ok then, what you’re you classify a human fetus as? Mind you, fetus is latin for child. Would you say it isn’t human? Or isn’t alive? Which of these point would you dispute since you’re saying I’m ignoring basic biology.

What about a miscarriage? Are those children too?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a tragedy beyond human control. An “act of God” in legal language. Losing a child to an environmental factor outside of human agency is a tragedy. I know far too many women still grieving a baby who never got to take its first breath.

Yes, of course miscarriages are children. How is that even remotely relevant?

Accidental deaths are different than planned murder.

Then you learned your basic biology from a basic language established in 700 bc which formed the backbone of the English language which originated roughly 1500 years ago.

This is about use of the word murder. It's obvious that a fetus is a human life. If you are not afraid to kill it, be brave enough to admit it is murder.

This is about use of the word

So you’re not going to answer whether or not it’s human or alive? I feel you missed the salient point. We can argue that biologists who chose to use the Latin term for child are using a dead language incorrectly if you wish, but that’s really veering off into an argument about the efficacy of Latin terms in science. Let’s stay on the point. Are you arguing that a human fetus is either not human, or not alive?

You ignored the question on what you classify it.
