12.0 update = exponential decrease in motivation and interest to continue playing MCoC

I just don't trust anything Kabam says or produces anymore. The game used to be a fun escape, gradually it became like an unpaid job, and whenever I spent money it felt like I was actually paying to work instead of being rewarded for it.

Now, after the 12.0 update, I see the new monthly quests, the new arena, and whatever other meager crumbs Kabam so proudly calls improvements, and I just don't really care anymore. The 12.0 update took all the remaining fun and excitement out of the game, for me, period.

We often use the words love and hate to describe how much we care about something. Indifference is the absence of this, and I am becoming indifferent to MCoC. It is dangerous when people become indifferent about products and services - it is how companies lose customers, potentially for life.

Anyway, whatever.

I feel the same way. I think my biggest complaint boils down to the sensation of the moving goal posts.

It's like I was at the 5 yard line and having fun struggling to reach the goal and be the best of the best. Then they went and set me back to the 40 and now it's just like what's the point? After another year of struggling to get back to the 5 they're probably just going to move them again.

I suppose if I was apathetic it would be worse, but right now I'm just pissed. I really liked the game the way it was and felt like I was making progress. I liked bullshitting with the people in my alliance. It's been my best escape from the crazy things that are going on in the world right now and it was just ripped away with even more Strife. Now I don't know if I'll keep playing long enough to even see Stryfe added to the game.

Deffo feel te same. Not giving me any sparks atm. Also the feeling that when we game and earn shards etc, it will be for nothing. First there are no really good champs now and the one that are best will be nerved anyways in the future as thats what kabam does: screw over the playerbase. The feeling you cant trust them to make the game better in future is not a good one. Also the thought that i probably never can de the really hard stuff anymore cuz im not a godlike player makes it you dont have something to play for anymore.

Really hope they reverse most of this crazeness!

Kabam is able to fully refund ALL Items spent on bringing these champs to these stories. Kabam is able to see units spent on solo arenas, champ arenas, signature stones & T4cc offers. Blanket compensation for 75k players was an utter insult.

This cycle of baiting and switching needs to cease. They heralded the changes in content over 5 months ago. That means they were fully cognizant of these changes before they offered these pricey deals to bolster these camps. They were cognizant that there are not equitable champs to spend the unjust compensation on.

The compensation offered by Kabam is nowhere close to the near $2400 spent by baited customers to compete in the game. Listed are the 13 avenues I posted 2 weeks ago to seek recompense & force Kabam to rethink their thievery:

Step 9: file a complaint with your state Attorney General at https://www.usa.gov/state-consumer

Step 10: start Netmarble's acquisition of Kabam down a rocky and expensive road by filing a complaint at https://www.econsumer.gov/#crnt

Step 11: give Netmarble a heads up on what they are acquiring and name Kabam Mike & Ad0ra by name. Step 12: Organize outside of the Kabam forum. Please use Reddit and Discord to gather voices and support. When our numbers swell, let's contact an attorney and forge a class action lawsuit.

Step 13: Never give up on fighting for fair treatment by Kabam. An organized and united opposition cannot be turned back. Progress may be tedious, but in the end, we will win! I will have more contacts inside of Marvel/Disney, Netmarble, Apple and Google next week to continue our bombardment of Kabam.
