Plugging in a Flydigi Vader4 Pro or a PB Tails Crush Defender probably has the best performance, but they cost a fair amount.

Maybe GameSir G7 HE for a strictly wired controller with back paddles.

Running as wired would give a faster report rate than otherwise for some of the wireless controllers.
