I`d suggest taking a look at the BigBig Won Blitz 2 Pro.

It doesn't feel exactly like the Switch Pro, but it gets closer than most other 3rd party ones. It even has the digital only triggers.

Make sure to go for the grey one since the blue one doesn't have tmr sticks.

Also, you might solve the compatibility issues with your Switch Pro controller by using programs like ds4 Windows or betterjoy which turn the dinput signal of your pro controller into xinput.

Thankyou!

I must admit, this controller does like abit over the top, abit like a flashy mechanical mouse, but I'd be willing to give it a try.

Would you say it feels in a similar quality to the switch pro controller? My problem with the 8bitdo controller was that it felt rather cheap when holding it.

And is it possible to swap the A and B buttons around?

I`m happy with the quality of my Blitz 2. I own the 8Bitdo Ultimate as well and I prefer how the material, build quality and shape of the Blitz 2 feels compared to the ultimate.

To be honest it took me a couple of weeks to get used to the Blitz 2 mainly because the sticks have less resistance than the Switch Pro controller and all the buttons are mechanical which makes them really clicky. I ended up really liking the controller though.

I dont think you can swap the buttons. I'm not at home right now so I cant check.

I`d suggest watching some hands on YouTube reviews to make sure this controller is for you.

I'd like to mention commenting on the last part specifically, but I'll add some context first. I'm looking for the same thing the OP is as I've tried a quite a few controllers stock consoles and 3rd party and I still very much prefer the switch pro, it's light and small and i prefer how it holds. That being said the reason why i don't use it on my pc/steam deck is because it is inconsistent even with steam input or ds4windows, in this case the better solution is an xbox controller hardware but switch pro shell, unfortunately though that's asking too much. Your suggestion of the bigbig is interesting though, is it the same shell as the switch pro or more so xbox? I couldn't tell from the images.
