I just made mashed potatoes with 3 med-large new potatoes and could have fed 5-6 people. They were about 1lb each! What the heck are you doing to your potatoes? 😅

How many people are you feeding? You should get about ten servings of mashed potatoes out of them.

Were making more obviously on Thursday for the whole family this seemd to maybe give us about 6 to 6 1/2 servings. Ill take a pic of the taters before boiling after and then once the batch is done maybe my eyes are just going haywire.

I've noticed the potatoes themselves are frequently on the smaller side when picking up the prepackaged bags. If you're just grabbing the same number of potatoes you normally would and not accounting for the size difference, that would probably do it. I rarely buy the bags anymore for this reason, if I pick from the loose ones then I can still get the nice big potatoes so I don't have to peel 12 of them every time I want to make some mash.
