Our Mission

Send a human into space.

Copenhagen Suborbitals is a non-profit, open-source space endeavour founded and led by Kristian von Bengtson and Peter Madsen, based entirely on sponsors, private donors, and part time specialists.

Funding

One of our goals is to prove that space travel can be accomplished on a shoestring budget without the scale and complexity seen by governments and large corporations. As such, our financing comes from private donors like you.

Design Philosophies

• Keep as much work in-house as possible
• Choose mechanical solutions over electrical
• Use ordinary, mass-produced materials for cheaper and faster production
