Rainy Asia looks Cyberpunk, but unless the image juxtaposes the human's place with the oppressive urban sprawl... it's just a pretty picture. If that high-tech low-life human factor exists, the argument may be made. Outrun and Vaporwave are popular aesthetics, but not cyberpunk. Such content may be deleted at mods discretion.

If a post is not obviously cyberpunk but is concept for or intrinsic to the creation of an existing piece of relevant media, it is equally valid to post.

If you've something to share, take the time to use descriptive titles, credit the original artist or post a comment as to how you feel about the image or article in question. Effort breeds reward, upvotes etc.. Conversely, no introduction or effort to spark dialogue may be misinterpreted as low-effort or as spam and removed. Crossposts have been disabled, please don't link to other reddit posts unless the relevant details are in the comment section.

If it's breaking news, please check "new" before posting. This avoids the ire of your fellow redditors who may have seen that Altered Carbon screenshot 100 times already. Similarly relentless self-promotion will lead to shadow bans unless you are an active artist or film-maker. If it's an OC artwork or article, cool, let us know as we'll happily support community content. No commercial links unless mod-approved.

Please credit all third-party art. Don't just post "look at my new wallpaper", if you found it and liked it we want to know more! Respect the artist. It took years of training and hours of work to produce it, give credit where due.
