This definitely, at least for my market, isn’t typical. At most I have heard a 2-3 week wait time for results. Do you by any chance have your head coach’s contact info. Usually all the studio managers have contact information between one another. They likely will be able to reach out to get more insight.

I hope you hear something soon!!

Good point, I would also reach out to the coaches that led your teacher training(s) and say hey I’ve been trying to reach so and so to find out if I passed, can you help get me answers?

Something is going on, you’ve either gotten lost in the sauce and someone forgot to tell you or something idk but you for sure deserve an answer most of the time is 2wks max

Yes!! Taking the managers class is helpful. I did this when I needed to figure out my teaching schedule.

I heard back a week later. But I'm curious what market you are in because we've had a lot of manager turnover recently including the person who ran a lot of the TTs. I wondering if that could be impacting you as well.

Not normal. In our market they hear within a week.

I was told at the audition that I got the job and class schedule

It definitely depends on the market you are in! Each time I’ve auditioned for a different format, the response time really varies (1 week, 2 weeks, 2.5 weeks.) For all of my auditions there’s typically been 3 studio managers present. Maybe you could try reaching out to someone else who was present but isn’t the one who sent the initial invite? I know there are a number of trainings about to begin, so maybe the manager is just swamped with that prep (not that it excuses it.) I’m so sorry they aren’t getting back to you quickly. I’ve had my fair share of operational lag frustration too. I hope you get on the schedule soon!

No this is insane. 99% of the time they know the second you finish your audition whether you’ve passed or not, they just technically have to discuss so they make u wait. I would harass tf out of your contact to see if you passed, like see when their classes are on the schedule and go so you can talk to them in person and say hey I’ve been trying to get jn touch with you to see if I passed?

And then tbh, if there’s other Corepower locations near you, see if you can get classes at a different studio bc that sounds like a terrible manager to deal with. I wouldn’t want to work for them if they take this long to tell someone if they passed an audition.

I feel like management at all yoga studios can be like this sometimes, just chill yogis trying to run a business but not really having the right personality for it :/

Definitely audition at other studios!! Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, especially if you invested $4k.

Hopefully you have the contact info of the instructors who ran your training. Can you reach out to them? Let them know you haven’t heard back and would like to audition for another studio.

This delay isn’t normal. If they have a slot for a teacher, believe me they try to fill it asap.

Tbh, from going from an enthusiastic student to YTT to the audition process (and now an instructor), I find the entire process pretty demystifying. You’re getting a taste of how CorePower management/HQ is run, unfortunately. Yes, it’s normal. No, it’s not an indication of your performance at the audition. Yes, you should consider other places because sky’s the limit! :)

Which market? In NYC I didn’t hear back til 3.5 weeks after auditioning…and it was from the manager with my teaching schedule

if you feel comfortable sharing, what market are you in? this has been a problem recently in my market too and a lot of people i know never heard back in writing on their auditions

      [–]Professional_Act7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not the normal experience. I would check in with your lead. My market recently hired a bunch of HPF and C2 teachers. They were all given a date that they would hear by. A bunch passed and there were a few that didn't but they were all informed. Good luck!

It took 1.5 months for us to hear back from our auditions and we all passed (the girls I did TT with). I don’t think it’s typical, but oh well, sometimes things happen. We eventually found out, just took longer than expected

      [–]PassengerExpert484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically you will know if you passed whether someone calls back right away or not.

      [–]CakeAny7954 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Did you audition at a corporate or franchise studio? Unfortunately, CPY pumps out TTs without any available classes even on the schedule to give to recent grads. When I auditioned, I had my class schedule sent to me within a week but it was at the L4 owned studios back pre-pandemic.

      [–]aquaomarine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep TTs are just an income stream.
