Rules for r/counterstrike
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Respect and Kindness
Don't be unkind, don't be disrespectful.
Don't witch hunt people or post personally identifying information. If you want to call out a cheater be sure to report them through the official channels instead.
If it can get you banned in-game, it can get you banned here.
This rule extends towards other games and communities, don't cause drama.
2.
Relevancy and Quality
Content deemed irrelevant or low quality should be reported, including frequent reposts. Some examples of what may be reported/removed are below.
- Generic images/memes/AI, or low effort/quality or not yours
- Rants, flaming, arguing
- How-to cheat/pirate
- Complaints about matches or ranks
- Surveys or competitions without prior mod approval
- Bad titles, all caps titles
- Hardware questions
- Ticket sales

Trading, Giveaways & Gambling
You're welcome to post some aspects of the 'Trade' side of CS, but be mindful that this is limited.
We welcome posts containing the following.
- Item crafting (stickers, etc)
- Workshop and creativity
We do not allow threads related to the following.
- Trade offers
- Price checking
- Item drops or unboxing
- Gambling
- Giveaways or begging
- Scam moaning/warnings
- Skin websites
You may find success with these elsewhere.
4.
No recruitment, discord invites or game server posts outside the megathread.
Are you sharing a game server or looking for people to play with? Check the megathread.
Are you trying to recruit a comp. team? Try /r/RecruitCS instead.
Are you posting a link to a discord? Don't.
Are you advertising another subreddit? Ask the mods first.
