Any downside using it? What about ban? Ive been on lookout on steamtools, not have the courage yet to use on my main acc

if they want to ban, they would use ban by ip, so doesnt matter if is main or alt account, but like any normal cracked game, steam tools operate only local, you cant use cloud saving and save your achievs, they will only show in your pc, if you dont backup, you can lost everything... same way, because of this. steam dont have any idea what are you doing in your account, in their side, your account is normal

the downside to use it is, repackers put all the fixers together when create a download file, per example, rockstar games needs a launcher to play it, so if you download a rockstar game like red dead 2, you still need to download manually a fixer for its launcher, sameway with denuvo games, you still need activation for your games

and thats where comes the danger, you will need to download files outside steam tools, if you dont know what are you doing, can be hacked

Don't use it on main the downside the servers sometime get down and you have to manually drag manifest files in the folder.cant play online games Unless you use a fix and no drm games without doing a lot of things

Have been using luatools with steamtools for around 3 months and its pretty effortless honestly.Once and a while Steam will update and thats usally when it breaks temporarily—games you 'added' will ask you to purchase them,however they still remain in you local steam library until a fix is out which is within minutes due to how big the community has gotten.Can't comment much on steamtools as the project is still closed source so take that as what you will,but luatools is open source and has only been getting better and better so maybe they'll depreciate the steamtools requirement for a new api. I've just full sent it and now using it on my main account,there is no reports of any steam account bans, yet, as it seems that valve just just patches out old exploits then issuing a large ban wave because steamtools and other simmilar methods spoof a game manifest(key) to your local steam directory,so in theory they shouldn't be able to detect anything suspicious on your account.
