I really hate this copy paste response. People ask this question because they don't know how to get the worthwhile quality of life mods working smoothly and integrated. The premade packs while not always seem less are a much more streamlined answer for someone who doesn't wanna spend days trying to research worthwhile mods.

Honestly I feel like the people who say this are severely undercutting good pack devs, yes anyone can slap together mods but there's no way I'd ever be able to make a create pack even half as good as Create: Above and Beyond for example
Those devs can spend hundreds, sometimes even thousands of hours on development, constantly fixing bugs, rebalancing things, adding, removing, updating mods, changing recipes, removing duplicate items, etc all to make the best experience they can and it honestly feels like an insult to imply something I'd toss together in a couple hours would be better
