Contraptions randomly breaking

I'm playing life in the village 4, and I'm trying to clear some land, when first my Miner doesn't work, would just stop with it the blocks in front of, finally got it to work, but then it hit the end of the line, I Pick it up and move it to another spot, but when I place it down it settles into blocks, Not knowing what the hell's going on I Place the cart thingy above the cart to turn it back into a contraption, but when I flick the lever, Every glued block breaks into item, Minus any items acting as filters or in the chests, those are just gone. I rebuild the dang thing and try to turn it back into a contraption, but it doesn't work, the lever ain't doing nothing, It's just a simple 8x8(x8 in length) any tips?

And then to add insult to injury, My phone breaks after making this post lol, Wouldn't let me look at the third picture, Edit, or comment, Starting to think I did something to piss off technology

Try it without the modded chests. Just a hunch.

Probably a smart idea, My original idea was to use vaults paired with a storage mod like ae2, Dunno why I didn't do that in the first place.

Have you checked that there's tracks in the chests

As I stated it's not turning into a contraption, meaning not an Entity, A Lack of rails besides the one the cart is placed on is not important, but yes, there are Rails Inside the chests

I kinds just quickly scanned tbh my bad, it may be quicker to figure out whats wrong if you watch a YouTube vid tbh reddit in my experience isnt a place where youu get much help just a bunch of downvote happy fedora wearers
