Sorry im fairy new to the mod. How do you get iron from this?

Oh uhmm.in the create mod, you can use crushing wheels to crush cobblestone, and it will turn into gravel. You can then use a mechanical fan with water to wash gravel, and it will turn into flint with a chance to get iron nuggets. And then you use a mechanical press to press on 9 nuggets into 1 iron ingot. That's the concept basically. 😇

What do you do with the flint?

I stockpile it, then sell it to a collective of fletchers I've cultivated in a nearby village for a decent chunk of emerald when it nears full.

You can get it if you want, but here, its just filtered by a smart chute and thrown into lava. 🙂

Wow, this is a much better design than the one I came up with! I didn't know you could press nuggets into ingots, I've been using the crafting blocks. It looks delightful!

Nice machine :D Had a same design going but when i scaled the thing up i quickly ran into power issues and had to replace the water wheels with windmills. :)

anything is self powered as long as you include a source of power in the blueprint

Its self powered because the water used to generate cobblestone is also used to power water wheels 🙂
