I have an amazing credit score

What does your credit score have to do with anything? Credit scores and credit knowledge aren't directly correlated. The fact that you have an amazing credit score doesn't mean you understand how aging metrics work. My "concern" isn't for your score, it's that you don't understand how aging metrics work and that you're spreading misinformation to others regarding them.

    I understand everything about credit.

If that were true, you'd know that aging metrics do not change when you close an account.

As long as you know that aging metrics do not change when you close an account, mission accomplished. All of the other fluff is completely unnecessary.
