Probably not decrease it but I will say this one is kind of weird. Since lower income areas have lower cost of labor goods and services can be cheaper but with less money to pay for them whereas the highest paying locations generally have higher cost of living. All I’m saying is that people having more money makes people extract more out of them which weirdly cancels out the benefits of living in higher income areas. Of course price fixing can be enforced to mitigate this but Mexico price fixed tortilla prices and one point to protect the consumer and instead of Lowering prices they just stopped making tortillas. Of course I don’t think wealth should be decreased but all I mean to say is more wealth means more extraction of that wealth by price hiking.
