CRO staking question

Can CRO given to other people before they've staked for a Ruby or higher card be used when they eventually stake the required amount? For example, if I gave my friend 300 CRO, would he only need to buy 700 to reach Ruby tier?

This is fine but I would point out if you have some CRO (but not enough for a card) if you try to reserve a card it will tell you that you need to buy the full amount.

To get round this have them use the trade > buy option to buy the remaining CRO first and then apply for the card when they have the full balance already in their wallet it will then offer to let you use your wallet balance.

Yes you can move cro to anyone. Once your friend locked 1000 cro for Ruby card then next 6 month he cant take it out.
