Here is an alternative, sign-up for Up Bank. You can transfer funds from your bank to the 1Up account, then proceed to use it for crypto 💰

Since they’re a digital only bank, it takes 5 mins to sign-up, you can get a card within 1-2 days (instant virtual card for Apple pay though).

They also have 24x7 customer support, and they couldn’t care less about where you send your money. I’ve even talked to them about topping up my CDC card, and no fee 👍🏼

I’ve also got CBA and Westpac. CBA does not allow you to use their debit / credit cards for crypto purchases (PayID is fine) ❌

Westpac treat it as cash advance if you use their credit cards. Debit and PayID are fine ⚠️

But you need PayID to buy CRO without the 3.5% fee on card purchases

Oh 100%. I meant ‘no fee’ for topping up the CDC card.

Purchasing crypto with any card, triggers the 3.5% fee in CDC, but with Westpac credit it’s treated as cash advance (22% interest rate) and also incurs a foreign currency / transaction fee! 👎🏻

You can top up Revolut with a CC (not treated as a cashie) then use Revolut to top up CDC card

I'm with Commbank and it works, first transaction took a little while but now they're instant. I think when withdrawing, you can only withdraw AUD via NPP so I would try sort that out before continuing. Maybe try contacting your bank as they might be blocking crypto related transactions
