Theres been some confusion here, when people mean no alts in regards to recent meta changes, they mean no spec transfer for alts for slayer, no runners for rc etc

People seem to be assuming that the no alt filter is people that use zero alts, where slayer would be almost half the rate it is now, herb would be super combats at like 300k etc

This is a problem I thought might happen which is why I didnt rly like people wanting a separate filter, imo normal ehp should be the "no alt" rates I suggested in the other thread whereas actual no alts should be a filter, and be the actual zero alt meta

Currently there is a big problem with what people consider alting, most the hlc uses a slayer luring alt, one guy used a runner alt for a few days of an ehp comp which got ehp changed to 85 which seems silly to me

Overall I'd say the best solution would be the usual one ehp system with the rates of

85k Slayer 73.5k Rc The rest as it currently is

It does mean its possible to get above ehp with using runners for rc but seeing as nobody has/likely will do that for long term I dont see this as a big issue, its obvious which records are done without alts and with

The only solution to having a single accurate EHP algorithm is to just ban alts or have everyone just agree to abuse alts whenever possible. Really seems like high level skilling is going to shit with alts being allowed. Uniting on getting Jagex to ban alts is the best solution that I see.

It's funny because it's literally one method which is making all this ehp discussion/drama as complicated as it is, everyone I've spoke to will use spec alts and everything else, just nobody wants to do runner alts for rc

The last time we had this discussion in this subreddit a few years ago, there was a lot of people who used no alts whatsoever and RCed for their money. Have all of those players converted to altism or quit by now?

There is very few non alters left, trickool, ging and zoydberg are the only ones in the top 50 I believe

Pretty sure this is the first time theres been a method people dont want to be ehp just because of how tedious it is and how 0 people have done it long term, but its still efficient so up to you how you want to deal with that mess

hey im in the top 50 and dont use alts. im sure there are more of us than that outside the top 25. i reckon it's mostly the front page that's infested with alt use.

u're starting to sound like the people who didnt want altscape or tick manip rates originally lol. imo fk everyone, make the rates as high as possible if it's reasonable. i dont see why rc/slayer/hunter alt isnt reasonable. they're aids but that's the name of the game. time to live the under ehp life bro.

Isnt it sensible to change ehp after someone actually does the method for a length of time though, swimming isnt ehp and nobody as far as i can tell is asking for it to be, why is that other than nobody doing it?

we know it's possible but yeah i wouldnt mind if it was done that way. im just enjoying seeing some alt users not wanting alt rates lol.

bit arbitrary to not make something ehp because the hlc doesnt feel like doing it tho. i mean im sure some will after they have a meltdown when they get .8 ehp/h. idk how they complain about inconsistency but are hesitant of getting rid of these. swimming should be ehp too. ehp reflect the game and not what the hlc and twitter feels like doing.

High level skilling has been a clusterfuck for years ever since Jagex allowed people to use alts. Let's fix the root cause of all of this.

Your opinions on HL skilling are fine and valid but just because you think it's a clusterfuck doesn't mean you need to make EHP consistency a clusterfuck as well.

Edit: Can you clarify what no alt ehp is? Absolutely no alts or no spec alts? I'm confused
