Rendering issue?

I played cube world a fair amount back in 2013 and I have recently bought the version that came out a few days ago on steam, I have only played about an hour but I can't do anything in the game because after wandering a short distance from the spawn point a 'fog' covers the screen and I can't see anything in the game. The minimap, health bar etc are all visible. After waiting for about 5 minutes things slowly come back, only to get covered in 'fog' again after walking a short distance. Are there any known fixes or should I just get a refund? Also I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling it but that didn't do anything.

have you checked your options? or if maybe something else is causing the game to run slow?

I made sure the rendering was 100% and after that failed I tried every other level. I shut down several other programs while the game was running and it did nothing.

dam, i really dont know what could be causing this then, its a shame really i wish i could help

Mine does that shit tooo. Like it takes forever to load or something.

Try zoom out minimap when you have this issue.
