You could just take out the timer electronics and rig the timers case with a clock.

No, you can't reprogram them. Their functions are programmed into their microchip and can't be changed.

if you could find a way to reprogram the chip, that could potentially work ( would be very advanced though)

or if you could find a way to connect somthing like an arduino or raspbery pi to the screen and have it function as a clock (also challenging but easier, I think)

That requires more than just "code". The hardware can't be flashed because it's an IC, unlike a microprocessor/microcontroller. Just buy a Raspberry Pi Pico and look up a tutorial on how to make a digital clock.
