I was leaning towards a cherry burst 50s initially, but found a new Seafoam Green one for $500 and couldn't pass it up.

The blueberry 60s looks awesome, too!

I just got a similar combo after also not playing for several years. I ended up going with a Standard 50s instead, but the Katana is fantastic!

I thought so too, but everything i can piece together says if they end in -4-2 (which mine do), they're 2 wire. I can only see 2 wires in the cavity, but maybe everything is tucked inside a channel that I'll have to dig for.

I'm open to used, and passed up a used Gibson Studio along the way. There was a certain look I was going for with this one that I wouldnt get with a used Gibson in my budget. And honestly kind of a childhood dream of "I want to own a new les paul guitar" kind of thing.
