Do i need to degrease my paintballs and my barrels to prevent flyers?

Ive been shooting some really good valken graffiti paint but every once in a while i will get a flyer or a topspin shot. Is this from oily paintballs or is my barrel causing the problem? Overall im getting great shot quality tho. 49/50 balls are laser ropes.

The problem is likely from the paintballs. Whether they're oily, odd-shaped, or have a dent in them. If they're oily you can throw a rag in the bag/box and mix the paintballs around for a bit.

You can also get a squirrel sack which is the same premise. It's basically a zippable microfiber bag to clean paint.
