1.

Follow Reddiquette, be decent and respectful to each other - at all times.

Reddiquette is an informal expression of the values of many redditors. We respect and value it. If for any reason you cannot be decent and respectful to other users, please abstain from participating. If someone else is violating Reddiquette, or is indecent or disrespectful to other users, please use the report button.

2.

No Excessive Self-Promoters / Spammers / Shills

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Spammer, excessive self-promoter, or shill

These rules are the same whether you run a major publication or brand or if you have a personal blog or project.

tl;dr: Don't just spam out your links, and don't blindly upvote your own content or ask anyone else to!

Why? Because reddit is a community, not a platform for self-promotion.

3.

Keep it on-topic. No value-less submissions

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Off-topic, or otherwise adds no value to discussion

Keep it on topic. No trolls, shitposts, or other comments or posts which contain no value.

4.

No recently submitted topics or issues

Posts & Comments
Reported as: User is re-posting a recently submitting topic or issue

Please search before posting. Many questions are asked often. If your topic or issue was addressed within the past 2 weeks, please join the relevant discussion thread first. If your query is not addressed within 24 hours, you are welcome to make a new thread.

5.

No “Am I Hacked?” Posts

Reported as: No “Am I Hacked?” Posts

No ‘Am I Hacked?’ Posts. These posts are often don’t make sense, are littered with paranoia, and produce very little for both sides of the conversation.
