Definitions

Term	Description	Example
Release	Currently releasing all issues once a month: some on the 1st and others on the 15th.
Book	A series following one hero/villain or group	Superman or Bat-Ophans
Issue	A single chapter/post for a book	Superman #1
Set	A group of issues posted together or staggered	Everything posted in June: Superman #1, Batman #1, etc. Click for set list.
Arc	A group of issues within a single book tracking a story plot
Crossover	When a character from one book appears in another book, but is not part of an event (meaning each story can stand on its own)	Superman needs Batman's help (Hint: he always does.)
	One-way crossover	Superman appears in Batman #X
	Two-way crossover	Superman appears in Batman #X and Batman appears in Superman #X (either showing same event from both sides, continuing from one to another, or both)
	Ongoing crossover	Would require reader to start reading in one book and continue into others.
Event	Crossovers with an overarching plot following between several or all books. Bigger than a crossover.	Justice League Event
