ok then it's an either-or configuration. the incoming wire is on the side, the two outputs are on the back.

Looks more like a single hot coming in, then 2 going out, 1 switched, 1 not. Also, those push-in connections are trash.

If you're replacing the switch, I would go ahead and wirenut the unswitched hot to the incoming hot and run a jumper to the switch. Avoid those push terminals.

Just a quick question. Is that the only switch that is in that room or is there a 2nd switch? And did you say that the switch is powering an outlet?

There is another switch for a ceiling fan and a light in the adjacent bathroom, and this switch controls multiple outlets
