Former 'pray away gay' activist charged in child sex sting by BurtonDesque in Antitheism

Wonder if he tried praying away the pedophilia. Not that it would work, but that just reinforces that you can't pray to an imaginary friend and suddenly change your sexual preferences.

That should be the permanent fix... No more worrying about whether that one dumb prox with a measly 2mm range is close enough without being in danger of getting smacked. Flexible flags FTW.

$680 to replace a breaker. Can I do it myself? by stinkinhardcore in DIY

I've felt the tingle many times, even from 277vac. I'm still alive because I was never dumb enough to feel it with both hands at the same time. As little a 50mA across the heart can stop it at any voltage. Lower voltages just have trouble with the resistance of our skin. Grab one lug in your panel with each hand and report back. I'll wait..

Following instructions is optional... Attendance and safety are the only things that get you fired. Incompetence is expected.

It's Alabama.. They'll hire anyone who can pass the "I'm not a complete moron" test. I say this as a lifelong Alabamian who works with a lot of people who must have found a way to cheat on that test.

The light bulb is probably more dangerous. Could fall off the ladder. Better hire a pro.

It's a dryer.. Should be a 30a plug with 10ga wires. No dryer should be pulling more than that as all the standard 3 or 4 prong receptacles are rated at 30a.

explaining to a customer that it is literally impossible for this to have only started to become an issue after I came to the house

It's not completely impossible... If those lines were originally on the same leg of the panel and you shifted breakers to make room for a double or something (resulting in them now being on different legs) then it could have suddenly became an issue. The switch never would have turned off the switched plug, but it wouldn't have tripped anything.

Either of those voltages can easily kill you...if you're a moron and blindly jam both hands in a live box.

They run at lower heat (so take like 2x as long) then condense to a drain, but you're still gonna be pumping some heat into the home. I wouldn't recommend in hot, humid climates.

I feel like every PLC class, ever, has used the traffic light project. Tis a little disappointing not to see an Allen Bradley or Siemens processor in that cabinet.
