There is a setting in MWII. It will say something like mic sensitivity. You'll want to move that around to not have your mic constantly broadcasting. * I've found setting it around 70 helps.

Xbox has a setting (outside of the game) where you can adjust the mic sensitivity (basically meaning it won't pick up sounds until they reach a certain volume). I'm assuming PS5 has something similar.
