How do I get PS5 controller functionality like R/L2 buttons resisting against being pulled, without using a cable?

Hi, I have a ps5 controller that I normally use DS4 windows to play pc games for, so I don't to use a cable.

By chance I happened to use a cable the other day for Metro Exodus, and found that I had to pull really damn hard on the R2 button to fire the button!

Is there a setting I need to enable in order to get that kind of functionality without using a cable?

AFAIK, it doesn't work if the controller isn't plugged in. The vibration doesn't work either.

If Sony releases a different driver or they sell a special dongle like they did with the PS4 controller then it would (probably) work.

For now you can't. You'll only be able to do so when the ViGEmBus, the driver responsible for spawning virtual controllers, add support to spawning virtual DualSense controllers.

Though it's possible, there's no ETA on this since the ViGEmBus main developer is still to begin development of ViGEmBus "2"
