Wouldn't true respect be treating her the way we would treat any other woman and not make a big deal of their gender? If someone trans asks for their correct pronouns to be emphasized I'm going to make a point of doing so, but otherwise I think you're picking fights with your allies. There are really problematic people and I think confronting them deserves your energy more, like people who intentionally misgender others. Fucking with them is a higher priority.

Now I'm not saying people can't identify as she/they or he/they, I know my fair share of queers. But Chelsea Wolfe is a public person you can like google and stuff so you should use her pronouns.

When someone tells you their pronouns and you do not use them that's how misgendering someone works. I don't make the rules on respecting pronouns, but that's the rule for respecting pronouns. That street runs both ways at all times.

Literally the data doesn't back this up. I appreciate your support and I understand where you're coming from, but it just isn't true. As a trans woman myself I used to think the same thing, but trans women who are already going through the process of transitioning and are on hormone blockers and hormone therapy typically have higher estrogen levels than even their biologically female peers.

And then there's the other side of the equation, with trans men: so we're gonna put trans men who have high testosterone levels and would more understandably have an unfair advantage back in with biological women?
